The Final Presentation:Requirements: Your presentation should be 2-3 minutes. Describe your project as if you were selling it. Share why you chose your house plan and what you liked about it. Would you build this house? Are there things you would change? What challenges did you encounter as you completed your project? How did you overcome them? Were there any tips or tricks you learned outside of class? What I Said: The home I designed and created was inspired by my parents. As a couple who are soon to be empty nesters they are wanting to downsize their home. With this inspiration I created this home. Split in two these buildings are separated by a deck and balcony. The main house has a living room, kitchen, dining room, and pantry on the first floor. The second floor leads to the primary bedroom and a large bathroom connected to a walk in closet. The other half’s first floor contains the garage and a large storage room. The second floor is the “guest room”, with a large bedroom, bathroom, and closet it is perfect for when children come to visit. Some challenges I encountered were actually during Lumion when working with the lighting with my house being purple. Though the idea stemmed from creating a house for empty nesters I did the aesthetic for me. If I did it in my mom’s aesthetic the walls would have been orange. So if that says nothing about how I was raised… Some tips I did learn is ask for help and dig through the Lumion inventory for decor. The Foam Board:Requirements:

Summary: The midterm and final projects represent a significant amount of work and a significant portion of your grade. The various red line homework assignments scheduled during the semester are designed to help you pace yourself, eliminate procrastination, and prevent "cramming." If you successfully complete the red line assignments as scheduled, you will also successfully complete the midterm project and be well on your way to completing the final project (i.e. renderings). |
